Yeah, wassup all. As you all know i got a new computer recently, new fecalmatter whatever, but i plug my microphone into the pink coloured slot and my computer doesnt recognise that its in, which is pretty fecalmatter, so could someone help me please.
sound card is soundblaster audigy.
I would really appreciate the help,

Pink! Idk too much about this as ive never used a plug in mic like that. Best bet is to check the sound properties and see if the mic is enabled and sound is up. Input mics like those just run on a input. They dont get recognized by the pc as other mics would, but are far ezier(so ive read) for pc nooblets to use and handle. Vipe's suggestion. Plantronics or Logi wireless Bt mic and stereo headsets. Price: 80 to 100 dollars Us.

when i unplug my mic and i plug it back in i always have to go to my control panel and do my mic test, otherwise it never works

wow 80 dollars for headset? christ i got this piece of 1 at bestbuy for 15 dollars and besides that fact that i ran it over with my chair and that one of the ear pieces hangs off its perfectly fine
