hey n e one what is a latched command and how can i change it
it says this when i try to change it
like normal command when u utype them in it will tell u what it is and what nby deafult it is ment to be like
/com_maxfps is:40 default:85
well with this cmd it says
is:56 default:56 latched:1536 1536 being what i want it to be ?

usually /vid_restart or /reconnect
What setting btw? I know with com_zonemegs you can only change it if you are running a server (local or dedicated)
If its a setting like zonemegs (idk if this will work) try and cheat it, run a map locally, change the setting you want then /connect to a server and it might stay at what you set

It's usually a diffrence in settings from one config to another(badmod to main to shrub blah). So, say I have my com_hunkmegs set to 256 in shrub, and my game starts in shrubmod, and i then enter BaD server, but my config is a lil diffrent, It will say "Com_maxfps 128 Latch 256" or w/e. This just means that the first setting is being used and the other should be in que. Only there isnt any real way for it to be able to change so it just runs with the first, being 256. So to fix, just set each setting to what you want in each cfg and mod and autoexec. Hope this clears this up. Also vid restart doesnt always fix this as somethings can't be done visually only  |
