3. The Game Freezes When Selecting Multiplayer: ===============================================
This will sometimes occur if you are not connected to the Internet before selecting multiplayer, and your Internet Service Provider uses "Auto Dial" to connect to the Internet. Auto Dial is a feature that brings up a dialogue box whenever using Internet applications without being connected to the Internet, the dialogue box will prompt the user to connect to the Internet and ask for their user name and password.
If you use Auto Dial, please make sure you are connected to the Internet before starting Return to Castle Wolfenstein to prevent your system from hanging. Contact your Internet Service Provider for more information regarding Auto Dial as it may affect your account and connection.
i doubt u have dial up or w/e vorad band u need to dial up to use but im still lookin to see if i cna help

thank me later fruit i found it for u The game freezes when selecting Multiplayer Question The game freezes when selecting Multiplayer. Answer This will sometimes occur if you are not connected to the internet before selecting multiplayer, and your Internet Service Provider uses Auto Dial to connect to the internet. Auto Dial is a feature that brings up a dialogue box whenever using internet applications without being connected to the internet, the dialogue box will prompt you to connect to the internet and ask for your user name and password. If you use Auto Dial, please make sure you are connected to the internet before starting the game to prevent your system from hanging. Contact your Internet Service Provider for more information regarding Auto Dial as it may affect your account and connection. Due to the variable nature of DSL/CABLE connections it is exceedingly difficult to offer generalized information. In these situations ensure the following. TCP/IP is only bound to the NIC which the internet connection relies on. IPX/SPX, NetBEUI and NetBIOS are not bound to the NIC which the internet connection relies on. You are not using ICS, NAT, IP Masquerading, or any other technique for sharing one IP address with multiple computers. If you have the 1.3 patch or later, turning off the autoupdater may fix the problem. 1) Go to the directory where you installed the game. 2) In the MAIN folder find the wolfconfig_mp.cfg file. 3) Open wolfconfig_mp.cfg with wordpad. 4) Look for the line seta cl_autoupdate "1" and change the 1 to 0. 5) Close and save the file. your welcome if it doesnt work ur still welcome
